Ever since Brosnan was founded in 2010, the purpose of ‘making a positive difference’ has been at the heart of everything we do.
Nearly a decade later, Brosnan has offices in Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown, a carpentry company Bettabuilt and more than 350 staff nationwide. Yet making a positive difference to our clients, our people and the environment remains at our core.
In achieving this for clients, we firmly believe that the most important thing to get right is truly understanding their needs. What outcome(s) are they looking to deliver? What challenges stand in the way? What good or bad construction experiences have they had before? And ultimately, how can we deliver confidence to their project?
With a focus on consistency and communication, we know that building a strong rapport with all stakeholders is critical and it takes a team effort to achieve this.
At Brosnan we aim to ‘walk the talk’ wherever we can when it comes to making a positive difference. Construction isn’t always known for having a positive impact and that’s why it’s so important to us.

We volunteer with DOC:
Our team helps to repair key tourism amenities in areas that aren’t covered by DOC’s current funding programme.
So far, we’ve made several repairs trips to Whanganui National Park and and are planning a volunteer trip to the South Island in 2020.

Blue September, Pink Ribbon Day, Movember, Children’s Special Christmas Party and Mental Health Awareness Week.
The AIMES foundation which supports youth academic and sporting endeavours.

Our innovative solutions such as NZ-first scaffold solutions and materials handling units and ability to fast-track programmes to finish ahead of schedule.
Consistently scoring between 95-100% on independent site safety audits.
A site recycling rate of around 95% on our flagship project Spencer on Byron.
