Networking in Winter: Connecting with the wider industry

We had a busy winter season for the Brosnan team, providingvaluable opportunities to connect with colleagues, clients, and partners acrossthe construction and property sectors. Our participation in three majorindustry events: AHICE Aotearoa and AHICE Sydney, ACRA Christmas in July, and theNZQIS Conference, reinforced our commitment to staying at the forefront ofindustry thinking and building strong professional networks.
The Australasian Hotel Industry Conference & Exhibition (AHICE) brought together leaders from across the accommodation and hospitality sector. For Brosnan, this event was a key opportunity to engage with owners, operators, and developers about the unique challenges of building and maintaining complex assets in live environments. Our team shared insights on remediation, refurbishment, and the practical considerations of upgrading existing buildings while minimising disruption to business operations.

The ACRA Christmas in July event, hosted by the Australasian Concrete Remediation Association, provided a forum to connect with peers and discuss the evolving landscape of the remedial building sector. With a focus on technical excellence and innovation, the event allowed our team to exchange ideas on current industry challenges, from supply chain management to workforce development, and to learn from other leaders in the field.

Some of our commercial team members attended the NZIQSConference in Auckland. Engaging with peers, quality assurance, and inspectionprofessionals helps us ensure our approach remains aligned to best practice, continuing our commitment to delivering for our clients.
These events form part of Brosnan's broader commitment toindustry engagement, knowledge sharing, and professional development. We lookforward to continuing these conversations and contributing to the industrydialogue at future events.
