Chapel Downs School

Located in Flatbush, Auckland, Chapel Downs School is a large and vibrant multi-cultural kura | school of more than 600 ākonga | students from years oneto six. Due to new housing developments, the school requires expansion into a Junior School catering for years one to ten. 

Part of a six-stage master plan, Brosnan is currently engaged in building Phase 1and Phase 2. We are committed to the school's "Achieving Together" vision and to delivering high-quality educational facilities for the community.

Our approach emphasises sustainable practices and community collaboration. Duringthe build, we’ve implemented comprehensive waste management, sorting materials like timber, metal, and concrete on-site and working with specialist partnersto achieve a high landfill diversion rate.

Brosnan is also engaging with the school and its ākonga, in various ways, including providing salvaged materials for creative projects and donating paint for hoarding artwork with a sustainability theme. We are dedicated to working holistically with the Ministry and the kura to ensure a successful, minimally disruptive project that benefits the entire school community.
