A specialised facility delivered with Brosnan's characteristic skill.
Brosnan was engaged to carry out the construction of the new Mercy Ascot Specialist Centre in Epsom, Auckland.
Works included the construction and installation of building services, interior design packages and compliance with medical system requirements.
Construction works progressed from the rear of the site, moving to the front, allowing multiple trades to work on various areas of the building. Mercy Ascot Specialist Centre is a steel framed building with timber inserts and innowood cladding on level one. The ground floor consisted of a block and render finish, including curtain wall and glazing panels.
Located within a logistically challenging environment and due to the construction site’s close proximity to the hospital and nearby residential area meant that extra care had to be taken to minimise noise and dust. The project was delivered successfully, highlighting Brosnan’s ability to navigate the complexities of construction within a sensitive and challenging environment
